L197 Whirlpool Dryer High Limit Kit

This is a thermal fuse (high limit) and thermostat kit that works for essentially all Whirlpool lint-top dryers. Whirlpool manufactured this series of dryer for many other companies including: Amana, Maytag, Kenmore, Roper, KitchenAid, and others. If you are installing a WP279838 dryer element, this is the matching kit.

Note that we ONLY sell these sensors as a kit. You want to replace both at the same time, even if only one has gone bad (usually the high limit/thermal fuse which will go bad if the dryer overheats too much).
